Eggs cooling

Eggs cooling.

On analyzing the signs you have found, it is necessary to remove irregularities in the regime of incubation. In the initial period of incubation it is desirable to keep the temperature at the upper level of eggs within the range of 39.5-39 degrees, in the middle period – 38.5 degrees, the hatch out period – 38-37 degrees. It is obligatory to turn eggs over in the trays. To cool them is also obligatory.

In this case the conditions of incubation become close to the natural ones – those with the brood hen. It is especially important to cool goose and duck eggs. In their yolk there is more grease, this why embryos produce much heat when using it and if they are not allowed to get a little colder, they will die from overheating.

In a small incubator where there is a device for turning eggs over without opening the door this operation is conducted every two hours, except the night time. Begin conducting this operation from the middle period. If there is no such a device, then to cool the tray it is taken out of the incubator two times every twenty-four hours, uniting overturning with cooling.

How much time to cool? The following method is used. Place an egg against your eyelid and if you feel neither warmth, nor cold, – it’s enough. When eggs are cooled manually, they are cooled from the second day of incubation to the beginning of hatching out, until the cheep can be heard inside or until breaking the egg-shell begins.

Follow this advice and you will say thank you to us.
