Selection of eggs

Selection of eggs.

The most reliable eggs are the ones laid 5-7 days ago by hens, 10 days ago by turkeys and ducks and up to 16 days from the day of laying by goose. A fresh egg can be identified easily. Its surface is mat because it is covered by the overshell coat. This coat has bactericidal properties, this is why it is not recommended to wash eggs before incubation. It is desirable to install the incubator in the premises where the temperature is within the range of 15-22 degrees.

The selected eggs are to be stored in the tray, but by this time in the chamber of the unit the initial temperature should be 1-2o higher to heat the eggs faster and there must be the necessary humidity and ventilation.
