Putting in operation

Putting in operation.

Incubator performance.

Thus, the housing is assembled, the sensor is fixed. Switch on the incubator and let it operate a little. My incubator reaches the stable temperature within 20 min. This time depends upon the internal volume of the housing and the bulb power.

After stabilizing the temperature set it at the level of 38 degrees. Let it operate in this regime for a week. During this time you should learn: to keep the temperature, to maintain the definite level of humidity. Check the correspondence of the temperature registered by the alcohol thermometer to the temperature registered by the clinical mercurial thermometer.

The difference can be up to 3 degrees! Correspondingly, you will have to make the correction of the alcohol thermometer reading. Check the difference in temperatures by the mercurial thermometer in different corners and in the middle of the shelf for eggs.

Make the temperatures equal by positioning the reflectors and, if necessary, by the bulbs power. The allowable difference of temperature in different places of the tray is from 0.5 to 1 degree.

After all the checks begin to select eggs for incubation.
